Choose the type of training that best fits your learning style!
Our goal is to provide faculty with training that best fits your learning style, how you want it, when you need it. You will find a variety of resources for you including:
Training Opportunities
Workshops and classes are offered throughout the calendar year. These can vary from mini-sessions, just in time trainings (30 minutes), to week long training camps, like our yearly iTeach workshops.
We also provide opportunities to participate in webinars. These may be offered by vendors of products that we have yearly licenses for (like VoiceThread, SoftChalk, Blackboard, etc.) or links to webinars that we have come across that we think would benefit you. Sometimes we will provide links to webinars we attended that were recorded and think are worth sharing. If you have a link to a webinar that you found useful, please submit the link to us and we will post it on the blog. You can submit a link by completing the form on the “Not Finding What You Need” page.
Web-Based Resources
Our web-based resources are available for you to download or view when you need them or when you have time to learn. We have resources for novice and more advanced users in a variety of formats to meet different learning styles.
Individual Assistance
We welcome meeting with you one-on-one to address your individual questions and needs. We can accommodate you in-person or at a distance (using Google Hang-outs, Elluminate, Skype, audio-conference).
Additional Resources
In this section you will find other documentation we have either created or found that will improve course development, teaching or the learning process.
We highly recommend that you follow, or subscribe, to this blog so you can receive notifications when we add new training tutorials or interesting articles to our collection.
